Closely related to the Barnsdale saloon,
the Badsworth revives a style made popular pre-war with a fold down
roof section for the rear passengers.
This Landaulette style dates back to
a time of chauffeur driven cars, where the passengers in the back were
considered more important than the staff driver behind the wheel.
On a hot day they would fold down the open section and let the breeze
wisp around those on the back seat.
Nowadays it is a very popular option
for use by wedding hire companies allowing for clear photo
opportunities.
For the private individual this model takes summer drives to a new
dimension. |
